Achenputtel (German title of Cinderella from the Brothers Grimm's Fairy Tales) - Fineliner & digital colouring

Some years ago, when my lady and me still held our own literature circle sessions, we met in a small forest house in a rural area in Germany to discuss the Brother Grimm's Tales in fitting surroundings. While we spent a weekend with these most essential of German folk stories, I espied an illustration of Aschenputtel in an old edition which I rather liked. Unfortunately the publisher had not bothered to state the artist's name, but I did not want to entirely lose it from memory. So I started to make a personal version and did a modified sketch based on it with an old fineliner while listening to the discussion.
My heroine is a little older than the original one, a little more appealing perhaps, and I added some detail to the background - the pose and overall composition however I owe to the unknown illustrator.
This was one of the very first pieces I coloured digitally.
